monday10:00am - 6:00pmtuesday9:00am. - 4:00pm wednesday 9:00am - 4:00pm thursday10:00am - 6:00pm friday9:00am - 4:00pm closed 12:00pm to 1:00pm daily for volunteers to eat lunch; closed weekends, holidays and for other special activities. just food also closes at noon on days when cooking classes are scheduled, and its pantry is closed the second monday of each month for staff development.just food serves partner agencies: monday to friday: 1:00 pm - 4:00pm. appointments for other times may be arranged on request. cooking classes: generally take place on tuesday and wednesday evenings. please call the office for details or to sign up. food donations monday-friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.just food has three onsite programs that provide food to residents of douglas county who are in need of nutritious food to put in their diet! click on the links below to find out more about our onsite programs! food pantry - the food pantry is open five days per week. clients can come in and receive a bag or box of food once every thirty days. once approved, clients may visit daily for fresh produce and bread. to qualify for this program, clients must be within 185% of the federal poverty level. click on the link for more information, hours and how to download an application. ballard community services, salvation army and penn house are all a part of the same network. one household may visit one pantry in a thirty day period, but may come each day for fresh bread and produce. mobile food pantry the third wednesday of each month 9:00amit is operated by ballard community services. this event takes place at the douglas county 4-h fairgrounds. for more information, please contact ballard community services at 785-842-0729. federal commodity distribution (senior commodities and regular commodities) (csfp and tefap) - federal commodity programs are now distributed by harvesters: the community food network. please contact harvesters at 816.929.3000 for more information. other food pantries & feeding programs in douglas count.for more information, please call.
